2007年2月10日，曾先后在电视剧《阁楼男女》和电影《那小子真帅》中担当女主角的27岁的演员郑多彬，在男友住处上吊自杀身亡。郑多彬没有留下任何遗言，但从她死前的只言片语中我们也可以领略到韩国明星从艺之路的艰辛。郑多彬曾多次向男友倾诉， 没什么事做，但很累。 这种累是指她所承受的。自2005年9月后她终止了几乎一切演艺活动，虽然签约了新的经纪公司，因为种种原因，郑多彬一直都没有接到什么像样的工作。被内定为电视剧《魔方》的女主角，但剧的开拍被一推再推，所以警方推断工作压力，应该是促使她走上自杀道路的关键原因。郑多彬死前曾在自己的主页上留下预示死亡心境的文字，从中也可以看出她自杀之前那段时间。承受了巨大的压力而无法宣泄。
